งานทอดกฐินสามัคคี และตักบาตรเทโวโรหณะ
ด้วยคณะศิษยานุศิษย์ และท่านที่เคารพนับถือในพระเดชพระคุณพระมงคลเทพมุนี (หลวงพ่อวัดปากน้ำ) และท่านสาธุชนทั้งหลายซึ่งมี คุณประจิน Cook และครอบครัว, คุณรอน คุณมาลี พรหมสุข และบุตร-ธิดา, คุณศจี คุณ John S. Bachleda, คุณปริยา คุณ Steven คุณ Jacob พิบูลย์ Ellman เป็นประธาน ได้ร่วมใจกันจัดงานทอดผ้ากฐินสามัคคีขึ้น ณ วัดมงคลเทพมุนี ใน วันอาทิตย์ที่ 4 ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2563
Kathin Ceremony and Takbart Devo on Sunday October 4th, 2020
As established by Buddha, the Kathin ceremony is held during the four weeks that follow the conclusion of the three-months retreat of the year. Buddhists consider this ceremony, offering new robes to the monks, as one of the most significant forms of merit-making. This event also comes on the traditional annual observance of Takbart Devo, celebrating the time during which Buddha descended through heaven upon his return form presenting Dhamma to his mother in Deva’s dwelling realms.
การทอดกฐิน เป็นทานพิธีที่สมเด็จพระผู้มีพระภาคเจ้า มีพระบรมพุทธานุญาตให้สาธุชนทั้งหลายทอดได้เพียงปีละหนึ่งครั้งในวัดหนึ่งๆ ในระยะเวลาหนึ่งเดือนหลังจากออกพรรษาแล้ว จึงถือกันว่าการทอดกฐินนั้น เป็นกาลทานและเป็นสังฆทานที่มีผลานิสงส์มาก และในวาระออกพรรษาของทุกปี จะมีประเพณีการตักบาตรเทโว หรือที่เรียกว่าเทโวโรหณะ เพื่อรำลึกถึงครั้งที่องค์สมเด็จพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า เสด็จลงจากสวรรค์ชั้นดาวดึงส์ หลังจากที่ได้ทรงอยู่จำพรรษาและแสดงธรรมโปรดพระพุทธมารดา ในกาลนั้น พุทธศาสนิกชนได้พร้อมกันตักบาตรแด่พระองค์เพื่อเป็นการรับเสด็จเมื่อทรงหยั่งลงจากเทวโลกอีกด้วย
ฉะนั้น จึงขอเรียนเชิญท่านสาธุชนทั้งหลายไปบำเพ็ญทานบารมีร่วมทอดกฐินและตักบาตรเทโวโดยพร้อมเพรียงกัน สำหรับท่านที่มิอาจไปร่วมงานได้ ขอจงตั้งจิตให้เป็นกุศลร่วมอนุโมทนาในบุญพิธีนี้ หรือหากมีจิตศรัทธาจะบริจาคทรัพย์ร่วมทำบุญเพื่อเพิ่มพูนทานบารมีให้ทวียิ่งๆ ขึ้น โปรดใช้เช้คสั่งจ่าย Monkoltepmunee Temple พร้อมกรอกใบปวารณาทำบุญ

เวลา 9:00 น. สาธุชนทั้งหลายตักบาตรเทโวโรหณะพระสงฆ์ 9 รูป (Takbart Devo)
เวลา 10:30 น. พระสงฆ์เจริญพระพุทธมนต์สมโภชองค์กฐิน (Blessing Chant to celebrate the Kathin Robe)
เวลา 11:00 น. ถวายภัตตาหารเพลเป็นสังฆทานแด่พระสงฆ์, สาธุชนร่วมรับประทานอาหารพร้อมกัน (Offering lunch to the monks and food court is open for participants)
เวลา 12:30 น. แห่องค์กฐินรอบพระอุโบสถ (Precession of Kathin Robe around Ubosod Hall)
เวลา 13:30 น. ทำพิธีถวายผ้ากฐินสามัคคี (Kathin Robe Offering Ceremony)
เวลา 14:30 น. ทำพิธีถวายผ้าป่าบริวารกฐิน พระสงฆ์อนุโมทนา สาธุชนกรวดน้ำ รับพร รับน้ำพระพุทธมนต์ เป็นเสร็จพิธี (Donation of other fundamental supplies such as basic utensils and equipment, or money donation, dedicating merit rite to ancestors and blessing chant, sprinkling of sacred water.)
