ขอเชิญพุทธศาสนิกชนผู้มีใจบุญทั้งหลาย ร่วมงานวันสำคัญโลกแห่งวิสาขบูชา (ประสูติ-ตรัสรู้-ปรินิพพาน) ใน วันอาทิตย์ที่ 23 พฤษภาคม 2564 เริ่มเวลา 9.30 น. เป็นต้นไป

วันวิสาขบูชา เป็นวันสำคัญอย่างยิ่งของพระพุทธศาสนา เพราะเป็นวันคล้ายวันประสูติ ตรัสรู้ และเสด็จดับขันธปรินิพพานของสมเด็จพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า มีการบูชาในวันเพ็ญเดือน 6 ถ้าปีใดเป็นปีที่มีอธิกมาส คือ มีเดือน 8 สองหน ก็เลื่อนวันวิสาขบูชาไปเป็นกลางเดือน 7 วันวิสาขบูชา
Vesak Day commemorates the three major events in the life of Buddha. It was on the full moon day of the 6th lunar month when the moon was in Visakha asterism that the Buddha was born. Then, on his 35th birthday, he attained self-enlightenment. And, on his 80th birthday, he passed away into total nirvana.
เมื่อถึงวันสำคัญเช่นนี้ พุทธศาสนิกชนได้กำหนดเอาเป็นวันแสดงความกตัญญูกตเวทิตาธรรม สัมมาปฏิบัติทั้งอามิสบูชาและปฎิบัติบูชา มีการบริจาคทาน รักษาศีล เจริญภาวนา และทำพิธีเวียนเทียนประทักษิณ 3 รอบ ที่พระสถูป หรือพระพุทธปฎิมากร ที่นักปราชญ์ได้สร้างอุทิศเฉพาะพระผู้มีพระภาคเจ้าเป็นพิเศษ เพื่อก่อให้เกิด ความสังเวช และความเลื่อมใส จะได้เป็นปัจจัยแก่พระนิพพาน
Every year when this important day comes around again, Buddhist take the opportunity to pay highest respect to the Buddha as a way of expressing our gratitude for his goodness. We make merit by doing such things as practicing generosity, observing the precepts, and listening to the Dhamma sermon. We pay homage to the virtues of the Triple Gem – The Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha.
ดังนั้น วัดมงคลเทพมุนี จึงจัดให้มีการบำเพ็ญบุญในวันวิสาขบูชา มีการทำวัตรเช้า เจริญสมาธิภาวนา ทำบุญตักบาตร เวียนเทียน เป็นต้น เพื่อรวบรวมจตุปัจจัยสมทบทุนสร้างรั้วด้านหน้าพระอุโบสถ ฉะนั้น จึงขอเรียนเชิญท่านสาธุชนทั้งหลายไปร่วมงานบำเพ็ญทานบารมีโดยพร้อมเพรียงกัน
Monkoltepmunee Buddhist Temple will celebrate Visakha Puja on Sunday May 23rd, 2021. Program will start with Morning Chant followed by Tak Bart and alms giving to promote the spirit of charity.
สำหรับท่านที่มิอาจจะไปร่วมงานได้ ขอจงตั้งจิตให้เป็นกุศล แล้วอนุโมทนาในบุญพิธีนี้ หรือจะส่งเช้ค หรือมันนี่ออเดอร์ไปร่วมทำบุญด้วย เพื่อเป็นการเพิ่มพูนทานบารมีให้ทวียิ่งๆ ขึ้น โดยสั่งจ่าย Monkoltepmunee Temple

กำหนดการ (Schedule):
เวลา 9:30 น. พุทธศาสนิกชนทำวัตรเช้า สมาทานศีล เจริญสมาธิภาวนา (Morning Chant, Promising of the five precepts)
เวลา 10:00 น. พระสงฆ์เจริญพระพุทธมนต์ พระสงฆ์ออกรับบิณฑบาต สาธุชนตักบาตร (Blessing Chant and Tak Bart)
เวลา 11:00 น. ถวายภัตตาหารเพลเป็นสังฆทานแด่พระสงฆ์ (Offering lunch to monks)
เวลา 11:30 น. สาธุชนทั้งหลายรับประทานอาหารพร้อมกัน (Food Court is open to all participants)
เวลา 13:00 น. พิธีปลูกต้นไม้เพื่อถวายเป็นพุทธบูชา เนื่องในวันสำคัญสากลของโลก (Ceremony for planting Vesak trees)
เวลา 13:30 น. ทำพิธีถวายป้าป่าสมทบทุนสร้างรั้วด้านหน้าพระอุโบสถเสร็จแล้ว พระสงฆ์อนุโมทนา สาธุชนกรวดน้ำ รับพร รับน้ำพระพุทธมนต์ (Offering alms and Pah-Pa to monks dedicating merits to ancestors. Blessing Chant and sprinkling of spiritual sacred water)
เวลา 14:00 น. ทำพิธีเวียนเทียน เนื่องในวันวิสาขบูชา เป็นเสร็จพิธี (Candle procession around the Ubosod Hall)
