งานทำบุญวันมาฆบูชา วันอาทิตย์ ที่ ๙ กุมภาพันธ์ ๒๕๖๓
Mongkoltepmunee Buddhist Temple will make arrangement for members to celebrate Magha Bhuja on Sunday February 9th, 2020. The program will start with morning chant, followed by Tak Bart and alms giving to promote the spirit of charity.
วันมาฆบูชา เป็นวันสาคัญวันหนึ่งของพระพุทธศาสนา คือเป็นวันที่พระบรมศาสดาสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าของเราทั้งหลาย ได้ทรงแสดงโอวาทปาฏิโมกข์ในท่ามกลางพระอรหันต์ ๑,๒๕๐ รูป เรียกวันประชุมใหญ่นั้นว่า จาตุรงคสันนิบาต อันเป็นการประชุมที่ประกอบด้วยองค์ ๔ คือ
๑. พระสงฆ์สาวก ๑,๒๕๐ รูป มาประชุมกันโดยมิได้นัดหมาย
๒. พระภิกษุเหล่านั้นล้วนเป็นเอหิภิกขุอุปสัมปทา คือพระพุทธเจ้าทรงบวชให้เอง
๓. พระภิกษุเหล่านั้นล้วนเป็นพระอรหันต์ทั้งสิ้น และท่านเหล่านั้นได้อภิญญา ๖
๔. วันนั้นเป็นวันมาฆปูรณมี พระจันทร์เต็มดวง
ด้วยเหตุนี้พระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า จึงได้ทรงแสดงโอวาทปาฏิโมกข์ ซึ่งจัดว่าเป็นการประดิษฐานพระพุทธศาสนา คือ วางหลักแห่งการประกาศพระพุทธศาสนา อันเป็นโอวาทคาสั่งสอนที่วางหลักแห่งความประพฤติปฏิบัติเป็นส่วนของธรรมโดยแท้
ดังนั้น วัดมงคลเทพมุนี จึงจัดให้มีการบาเพ็ญบุญในวันมาฆบูชา มีทาวัตรเช้า เจริญสมาธิภาวนา ทาบุญตักบาตร ปิดทองพระ เวียนเทียน เป็นต้น สาหรับการจัดงานในปีนี้เพื่อรวบรวมจตุปัจจัยสมทบทุนสร้างรั้วด้านหน้าพระอุโบสถ ฉะนั้นทางวัดมงคลเทพมุนีจึงยังต้องรวบรวมจตุปัจจัยเพื่อการนี้
จึงขอเรียนเชิญท่านสาธุชนทั้งหลายไปร่วมบาเพ็ญทานบารมีโดยพร้อมเพรียงกัน สาหรับท่านที่มิอาจไปร่วมงานได้ ขอจงตั้งจิตให้เป็นกุศลแล้วอนุโมทนาในบุญพิธีนี้ หรือจะส่งเช็คหรือมันนี่ออร์เดอร์ ไปร่วมทาบุญด้วยเพื่อเป็นการเพิ่มพูนทานบารมีให้ทวียิ่ง ๆ ขึ้น โดยสั่งจ่าย Mongkoltepmunee temple มีกาหนดการดังต่อไปนี้

เวลา 09:30 น. พุทธศาสนิกชนทำวัตรเช้า
เวลา 10:00 น. สมาทานศีล, พระสงฆ์เจริญพระพุทธมนต์, สาธุชนตักบาตร
เวลา 11:00 น. ถวายภัตตาหารเพลเป็นสังฆทานแด่พระสงฆ์
เวลา 11:30 น. สาธุชนทั้งหลายรับประทานอาหารพร้อมกัน
เวลา 13:00 น. มีพระธรรมเทศนา 1 กัณฑ์
เวลา 13:30 น. ทำพิธีถวายผ้าป่าสมทบทุนสร้างรั้วด้านหน้าพระอุโบสถ
เสร็จแล้วพระสงฆ์ อนุโมทนา สาธุชนกรวดน้า รับพร รับน้าพระพุทธมนต์
เวลา 14:00 น. ทาพิธีเวียนเทียนเนื่องในวันมาฆบูชา เป็นเสร็จพิธี

Magha Bhuja Celebration
Magha Bhuja is an important holiday to commemorate the auspicious time as four unique events spontaneously occurred on the Magha full-moon day of the third lunar month. It was the day when the Buddha recited the Ovada-Patimokha (also known as the principles of Buddhism) to his disciples. On this day, there were 1250 monks from separate parts of the country who independently decided to visit and pay respect to the Buddha at Veruvana Monastery in Sarnath. All 1250 monks were ordained by the Buddha and all were Arahants (enlightened ones).
Donation is appreciated as fund raising is continuing for extension of the front concrete fence to the north end of the property. You are cordially invited to participate in the celebration. Following is the schedule of events for the day.

09:30 a.m. Morning Chant
10:00 a.m. Promising of the five precepts, blessing chant, and Tak Bart
11:00 a.m. Offering lunch to monks
11:30 a.m. Food court is open to all participants
01:00 p.m. Dhamma sermon
01:30 p.m. Tod Phapa ceremony, blessing chant, and sprinkling of spiritual sacred water
02:00 p.m. Candle procession around the Ubosod Hall
