วันสงกรานต์เป็นวันเถลิงศกใหม่ ย่างเข้าสู่ปีพุทธศักราช 2567 อันเป็นประเพณีมาแต่โบราณและเป็นอภิลักขิตกาลที่พุทธศาสนิกชนนิยมบำเพ็ญกุศลเพื่อเป็นศิริมงคล กับทั้งเป็นการรักษาขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณี ส่งเสริมให้พุทธศาสนิกชนบำเพ็ญบุญกุศลในวันสงกรานต์ อันจะอำนวยให้ชีวิตประสบแต่ความสุข ความเจิรญรุ่งเรือง และเป็นการแสดงออกซึ่งกตัญญูกตเวทิตาแก่บรรพบุรุษที่ล่วงลับไปแล้ว ด้วยการอุทิศส่วนบุญส่วนกุศลไปให้

Day marks the beginning of the traditional Thai New Year entering the year of 2567. It is Thai custom to hold a festival promoting the spirit of generosity among merit makers, bringing good fortune and prosperity to all. The occasion also serves as a way to pay respect and offer gratitude to our ancestors and the elders. The celebration provides an opportunity to donate on behalf of the deceased relatives.

ด้วยเหตุนี้ วัดมงคลเทพมุนีจึงจัดให้มีการบำเพ็ญบุญ เช่นการทำวัตรเช้า ทำบุญตักบาตร สรงน้ำพระ ก่อเจดีย์ทราย ปิดทองพระ และทอดผ้าป่าปัญญาบารมี

Mongkoltepmunee Buddhist Temple will hold its Songkran festival of 2024 for all to participate in the traditional ritual of a bathing ceremony of the Buddha images, gilding, chanting, building sand stupas, and to make merit by offering donation to the monks.

จึงขอเรียนเชิญท่านสาธุชนทั้งหลายไปร่วมงานบำเพ็ญบารมีโดยพร้อมเพรียงกัน สำหรับท่านที่มิอาจจะไปร่วมงานได้ ขอจงตั้งจิตให้เป็นกุศลอนุโมทนาในบุญพิธีนี้ หรือหากมีจิตศรัทธาจะบริจาคทรัพย์ร่วมทำบุญ เพื่อเพิ่มพูนทานบารมีให้ทวียิ่งๆ ขึ้น โปรดใช้เช้คสั่งจ่าย Mongkoltepmunee Temple ส่งมาพร้อมกรอก แบบฟอร์มนี้

9:30 am พุทธศาสกนิกชนทำวัตรเช้า สมาทานศีล ปิดทองพระ ก่อเจดีย์ทราย (Morning chant, promising of the five precepts, gilding of Buddha images, building sand stupas.)

10:00 am พระสงฆ์เจริญพระพุทธมนต์ (Blessing chant)

10:30 am สาธุชนทั้งหลายตักบาตร (Takbart)

11:00 am ถวายภัตตาหารเพลเป็นสังฆทานแด่พระสงฆ์ (Offering lunch to the monks)

11:30 am สาธุชนทั้งหลายรับประทานอาหารร่วมกัน (Food court is open for all participants)

01:00 pm มีพระธรรมเทศนา 1 กัณฑ์ (one Dhamma Sermon)

02:00 pm ทำพิธีบังสุกลรวมญาติ ถวายจตุปัจจัยไทยทาน (Chanting to dedicate merits to ancestors. Making donation on behalf of ancestors.)

02:30 pm ทำพิธีถวายผ้าป่าปัญญาบารมี พระสงฆ์อนุโมทนา สาธุกรวดน้ำ รับพร รับน้ำพระพุทธมนต์ (Offering robe and donation of other fundamental supplies, merit rite dedicating to ancestors. Blessing chant and sprinkling of sacred water.)

03:00 pm สรงน้ำพระพุทธรูป รูปหล่อหลวงพ่อวัดปากน้ำ และพระสงฆ์ (Traditional ritual of a bathing ceremony of the Buddha images and the monks.)
